Jake Bugg is back with the music video for one of his latest album's standout tracks, 'Bitter Salt'.

Directed by Michael Holyk, the visuals aim to 'deliver a rich psychedelic experience under the dazzling lights of Tokyo'.

Collaborating with Holyk on every video from the album to-date, the piece takes viewers on a journey with a young woman under the influence of drugs.

Holyk commented: "I wanted to create a video that reflected coming up on 'that' drug. It builds until it's the most intense. Seeing Jake in the video was a trigger for our story. Jake in this represents a dark thought or event that you blocked out but it seeps back in due to your brain going wild. Drugs amplify any internal battle you are having and if you can't control it sober you won't with anything else."

Bugg and his band have spent much of this year touring around the world, with a set of intimate London shows kicking off his travels before he hit both Glastonbury and T in the Park.

This Autumn, he'll be embarking on his 13-date UK tour, where he'll be showcasing his new material alongside some of his old favourites.

Jake Bugg's new album 'On My One' is available now.
