The 'Royal Highness' hitmaker and the indie rockers will perform at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on December 31, with likes of Felix Hagan & The Family, Tim Peaks DJ's and the northern city's very own Howling Rhythm DJ's.

Organisers have teased that they have a "very special guest" to be announced in the coming weeks.

It's the culmination of an amazing year for Kendal Calling festival at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District, with all 2018 festival tickets selling out immediately.

It has been a stellar year for Tom - whose debut solo album made it into the top 5 in the Official UK chart - but the 23-year-old musician is still getting to grips with his new life in the spotlight, and he nearly suffered an etiquette mishap at a star-studded bash/

Tom revealed: "I got invited to Stella McCarney's party and David Grohl was there. So I was like, I've got to say hello, thinking he was gonna say 'sound, in a bit' but we spoke for half an hour.

"It was me, Dave and Pat [Smear] and this lady was standing there, we were all chatting. I was so close to saying, 'would you take a photo of us' 'cos I didn't know who she was, but just before I was going to do that, my mate saw me going for my phone and stopped me, luckily.

"It was Stella McCartney! If I had asked her to take a picture, I would have been thrown out of the party."

As for Everything Everything, they are nominated for this year's Hyundai Mercury Prize for their critically-acclaimed LP 'A Fever Dream'.

They will go up against the likes of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Nadine Shah, Lily Allen and Florence + The Machine.

The winner will be announced on Thursday (20.09.18) at a ceremony at London's Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.

Tickets go on sasle from 9am on Thursday (20.09.18) from kendalcalling.co.uk/nye
