Bobby Womack has been added to the line-up of this year's Latitude festival.

The 69-year-old soul singer is set so appear on the Obelisk Main Stage in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk, on Sunday July 21 - the final day of the annual event.

Bobby - who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 - isn't the only new addition to the event, as acts Wolf Alice, DIIV, Torres, MØ, Money, Gabriel Bruce and Deptford Goth have also been announced.

British rockers Bloc Party are headlining the festival on July 19, followed by German electro pioneers Kraftwerk on July 20 and the Foals closing the festival with their first ever headlining slot on the same evening of Bobby's performance.

The festival's 6Music Stage will has headliners Modest Mouse, Alt-J and Beach House, with other performers over the three-day weekend including The Maccabees, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Willy Mason, Beth Orton, Villagers, Calexico, Daughter, Jessie Ware, James Blake, Swim Deep Chvrches and Laura Mvula.

Comedian and actor Eddie Izzard has also been added to line-up as part of the event's cultural activities.

These include comedy, poetry, dance and theatre from artists including Dylan Moran, Carol Ann Duffy and a celebration of David Bowie from the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
