Following months of interest from several labels, it is exciting to announce that Kramnik 1.0 EP is released today on Cueplay Records.

Swathes of positive reviews are already circulating. iDJ's Jon Stone remarks that 'it is easy to see why (Kramnik) is so well respected', whilst Klubbers.com offers high praise that borders on the awestruck: "The best EP we've heard this year... All I can say is that this is simply unbeatable. A real diamond that everyone should listen to and see that there is still hope in this thing called electronic music."

Hailing from Madrid, where he is already an influential name in EDM circles, Kramnik makes intelligent, moody, trippy electronica that demonstrates true technical artistry. Thanks to his Invisible Radio Show, a regular series of inspired one-hour showcase mixes, his fan base is already growing and his name is often mentioned in all the right forums.

"We signed Kramnik because of his unique style, his energy flow, his attention to the small details," said Cueplay Records owner Oleg Hripko.

"When we spoke to him for the first time, we were really nicely surprised at how big his love for music is - his soul is open towards new emotions, new feelings, new moments."

So with the music press and the record label clearly both thrilled, it seems that big things await for Kramnik and Kramnik 1.0. The three tunes, along with bonus track SwanTrack clearly demonstrate a creative and refreshing approach to production.

Kramnik samples bagpipes, kettle drums and harmonicas to great effect, and intriguingly also includes an owl which he uses to great effect on title track Viclone.

Incredibly atmospheric, there is a strong sense of narrative in each of the four tracks and a pleasing sense of continuity between them. Join Kramnik as he takes you on a cerebral nocturnal journey with tracks that pulse and ripple, breathing like the forest at night.

The EP is already gathering support from DJs and radio stations across the world. Luciano, Paco Osuna, Oliver Deutschmann, Matt Darey, Tim Richards, Mike Wall, Hans Boffmyhre, Skober, Chris Fortier, Mathew Craig, Jon Pierce, Berlin FM and the AMDJs radio show are just a small selection of the names who have already recognised Kramnik's work.
