Although I had the press release but no actual CD for this release (I think it’s on my CD rack at home) Charlie managed to save the day by pulling out his iPhone and getting the Underoath single playing through that.

Underoath - Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear

Underoath - Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear

Exclaiming that he loves Underoath and their latest album, he even decides the phone would be better off playing in the bowl of crisps in front of him, it “enhance the epic sound.”

Convinced that Underoath are on of the best bands in their genre at the moment, Charlie tells us all that their latest album is simply anthemic, but this song; “Doesn’t really represent what Underoath are - it doesn't represent the greatness of what they are.”

Fightstar-Takeover

True to form, Charlie explains his reasoning, by saying; “Spencer inspired me with his screams and inspired me to create different tones; he showed me that screaming could be as diverse as singing.

“They're so inventive with riffs, this new album is on the right road to becoming something amazing. There's never a dull moment with them.”

Although it’s mainly Charlie doing the talking as the song plays - except for as the song reaches it’s climax and he makes us all be quiet to; “Note the epic ending, yeah, yeah, yeah, awesome ending, awesome ending!” Omar does point out that; “I wouldn't know it was them if no-one told me. Quite religious aren't they…?”

Fightstar rating: 5/5
