Did you know this song was written about Sadamn Hussain when he was a fugitive?
David Gray is a man who, after being around for quite a while, still writes great songs and is one of the few proper songwriter’s, I’ve got to say, this is a man who totally deserves a place in the charts.
Personally, we like the fact that this song is about something, rather that the usual hollow music that find a place in the charts these days. We don’t like hollow music, I think if you’re going to write something it should be symbolic, at least to you.
I know it’s not exactly cutting edge but David Gray has a really good fan base, so when you’ve got that many people who love you, it’s guaranteed they will like anything you release. I (Ben) bought the album right away, I think he’s pretty amazing.
