Noisettes - Don’t Upset The Rhythm
So I have to admit, ever since I saw this song on the Television advert for the new Mazda I was hooked, I even recorded it onto my phone so my DJ friend could find out who it was.
The only problem was, far too often some amazing advert tunes (like the one for the new VW Golf at the moment) don’t seem to be getting the airplay they deserve despite being dance floor filling songs.
Yet, when I heard that this particular song was by the lovely Noisettes, I had to get it in my CD player right away! I just can’t get enough of it.
There is no way this song isn’t going to be a massive hit around the nightclub circuit in 2009, what’s more, I’m heading up a one-woman mission to get this track to number one when it’s released on March 23.
I’ll tell you something, with this sleek pop song, steeped in soul, dizzy on disco and harking back to the days of blues and jazz greats; I can hardly wait for the full album to make an appearance!
