It's only been twelve months since the release of their last album but the Kassidy boys are back with their new record On Man Army.

Yes it sees that these guys are not a band to sit back for a couple of years after bringing out a debut record Hope St and now they are back.

The album opens with instrumental track Kallisti before going into the really up beat and rather infectious Get By and the rousing chorus kicks off somewhat of a tradition on this record.

Maybe I'll Find is another song that you will be singing for hours later. It is a lot lighter than Get By with some great acoustic moments that work really well.

The track is lifted further by a the choir that is brought into towards the end of the track, I think it works really well with Barrie O’Neill's gravelly vocals.

The title track is one another of the standout tracks on the album as it starts out with the piano and some great harmonies before building to quite a powerful rock ballad.

The Hunted is another track that really does feature a great chorus that just totally lifts the track.

This is a very solid second album from the boys that really does contain some great tracks, the front five or six really being the best tracks on there.

But I feel that Kassidy just didn't take too many risks with this record, there is no doubt they are a bunch of very talented guys and it would have been great from them to go down a very unexpected path.

Having said that One Many Army is a great listen with some really memorable tracks and I did enjoy it from start to finish.
