If you haven’t had the chance to check out Sebastopol’s debut album Hello All Stations, This Is Zero then it is well worth a listen… and the band are back this week with their new single.
The Hateful Mob is that single and it sees Sebastopol continue this ‘sparse rock’ sound that they have become famous for.
And once again they have delivered another melodic track that grabs your attention and you ear immediately.
This is a track that mixes elements of rock as well and hints of punk to create a sound that Sebastopol have really made their own.
There is a real crispness to The Hateful Mob and the terrific hook makes this track a captivating listen - this is the kind of song just washes over you and is easy listen to.
They don’t d anything fancy with the vocal and Nick Powell really is on top form as he has a deep and very rich voice.
Sebastopol have had a great twelve months and The Hateful Mob will make sure that that success continues into the early part of 2013.
