In the time of Bastille being at the top of their game, it's nice to see another group who pull on their accents to add a sense of realism to a song that would be lost if sang in any other way.
'Spark' is exactly that, and Amber Run - made up of Will Jones, Tomas Sperring, Joshua Keogh, Henry Wyeth and Felix Archer - do well to impress with a single that should shoot them into the limelight immediately upon release.
It's something special, and while we were left waiting for the 'big' moment in the song that almost came but didn't quite get there, there is more than enough substance laced throughout the tune to keep you tiding by.
Amber Run have something special - certainly more than a spark - and should ignite the industry when this release comes about on April 20.
