The Raglans recall the golden era of Indie Rock.

Raglans - Digging Holes.

The band formed in 2010, since then they have been working hard to break out of Dublin and play their music here in the UK. They have appeared at all the major Irish festivals including Electric Picnic and Sea Sessions and are now ready to tour in different places.

A mystical rumbling of bass and guitar, Digging Holes is a rhythm-driven pop track with an Indie flare. The chorus is undeniably addictive and it’s clear that Raglan have a song writing talent. Evocative vocals, catchy hooks matched with a hilarious video to accommodate the song.

Digging Holes is gem amongst the rubble. Their other single Sand In My Pockets is another gem, fuelled by guitars and keys it will definitely be an Indie hit!

I can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP, I am impressed by the two songs that I have heard so far and I like the fact that the band doesn’t take it too seriously. Their music is fun, upbeat and catchy – just like a good song should be.

Hot Press are also a fan of the band and they say that ‘The Raglans recall the golden era of Indie Rock.’

It is hard to fault this band; their sound has a quality that not a lot of Indie bands have. They not only have a knack for memorable choruses and melodies, they are vocally on point. There is a unique blend of quirks and strength that very few bands today possess.

Digging Holes is available on Itunes now.
