Biding My Time is Kevin Walker’s third album; he has been in the music industry for a staggering thirty years, working with Vince Clarke, Sir Cliff Richard and Denise Williams.
Biding My Time is the third album from singer-songwriter Kev Walker and will be released on 9th September 2013. It has been 30 years since he released his sophomore album, In The Dusk in 1983 on Ears & Eyes Music and since then as his album title suggests he has been biding his time for his third album release.
The track Biding My Time is a beautiful blend of folk and blues rock, an up-tempo anthem with harmonicas, strings and bass. The track builds from a countrified introduction into a husky vocal with surrounding vocals.
A female vocal blends with the raw undertone of the male vocal. Fun, melodious and catchy – Biding My Time is an excellent track.
The album launch is taking place at The Basildon Town gate Theatre on Saturday the 10th of August at 7.30pm.
Tickers are £7.50 and all proceeds will go to cancer related charities such as Cancer research UK and Macmillan Cancer Trust.
