The Correspondents are back this week with their new single Well Measured Vice - their first release of 2013.
This is one hell of a catchy track that never takes its foot of the gas and if they keep on making music like this they are in for one hell of a year.
The instrumentation on this is fantastic as they mix guitars, horns and organs to give it a real sixties vibe that you can’t help but dance along to.
Mr Bruce has an incredibly intriguing vocal at times there is a quietness to it then at other moments there is a restrained frenzy.
But he has a vocal that is so easy to listen to and the electronic backing music compliments it so well.
There are also three remixes of the single on the release and they give this song the electro and dub treatment.
The Correspondents have been whipping up a storm on the live circuit over the last twelve months and that success looks set to continue this year as they kick it off in fine style with this track.
