The Diamond Noise

The Diamond Noise

Brand new, London-based four-piece, The Diamond Noise, break out with their exciting debut single 'Never Say Never Say Never' - released April 2nd on Mother Tongue.

A ludicrously catchy, punk rock influenced song, The Diamond Noise belt out brazen and defiant lyrics: 'And I thought I told ya, don’t fuck me over!  'Cause Papa always said if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.'

It all began in 2010 when Hugh Viney (vocals), brother Scott Viney (guitar), school pal Luke Marchant (bass) and university friend Hugh Scott-Moncrieff (drums) formed a band and designed bespoke events in Soho to showcase themselves.

Running these popular club nights across the capital for the last two years, the band gave themselves a platform to develop their now infamous, high-octane live show whilst simultaneously forging an amazingly loyal and passionate fan base who moved with the band to sell-out headline shows at the likes of Cargo and Water Rats.

The Diamond Noise duly took a break last year to record with legendary producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals etc).

The band's debut album is slated for release in the autumn, following two further single releases.  The Diamond Noise ended last year with a triumphant sell out show at The Bowery, London.  The band blew the roof off and simultaneously set the pace for 2012.  bigger, louder, faster and stronger.
