As women, we enjoy getting all glammed up for a night out or for afternoon lunch with the girls. Many mums seem to be struggling to find comfort from their current wardrobe as 87% reveal that they are in a wardrobe rut. Long gone are the days of spending hours choosing between outfits, as 76% of women are choosing the comfier option, wearing the same tired outfits several times a week.

On average 64% of mums spend less time getting themselves ready in the morning as 28% admit to lacking inspiration when it comes to matching the perfect heels with the cute midi dress.

Shopping sprees become a distant memory for new mums, spending nearly half the amount of clothes on themselves, once they have had their little one, dropping from £57 per month to £29 per month.

Persil Non-Bio & Comfort Pure’s have teamed up with celebrity stylist and fashion commentator, Grace WoodWard, to choose the perfect wardrobe once your bundle of joy has arrived. “Pram Glam: a guide to post-pregnancy fashion” is the new guide from Grace to support mums with their post-birth dressing dilemmas.

Grace says: “Having had my little boy six months ago, I know how your dress falls right to the bottom of your priority list, and rightly so. That’s why I’ve pulled together my tips and advice on how to easily breathe life back into your wardrobe, to help mums feel good about how they look too.”

Michelle Kimber, Brand Manager for Persil Non-Bio and Comfort Pure adds: “Our research shows that mums can lack inspiration and feel they’ve no time for themselves once the baby arrives.”
