This is because (89%) have told us that they find them less stressful to going abroad with the kids. 24% have in fact admitted to finding staying at home very boring.
Not only are day trips less expensive but half of the parents (53%) said that they chose this due to the cheaper option. Nearly a quarter of the mums and dads who participated believe that a day out for the kids means they should be given the experience of a wide range of activities which is what they get when on a day out in the UK.
