Relationships on Female First

It’s something different- You have probably been the cinema together hundreds of times on date nights- but this gives you a whole new way to experience the big screen that neither of you will ever forget.

You can feast- You can go traditional and have a pile of popcorn and a soft drink you could swim in but some drive-ins serve pizza so you can gorge on lots of cheese and carbs while you watch instead.

You can chat- If you want to make a comment about what you’re watching- you can- without disturbing anyone else around you- just like if you were watching something on the TV at home.

Three’s a crowd- Taking more people only restricts their viewing pleasure-everyone knows it’s a couples activity at heart so you won’t offend anyone if you don’t invite friends or family along to sit in your backseat.

It’s cost effective- When you compare the price of ticket in the cinema for two- it comes to around the same- but with this you are making new memories rather than going through the motions.

You can snuggle up- People might look at you funny if you drag your duvet into the cinema- but in your car- you can take whatever you need to make things cosy and comfortable- just don’t fall asleep.

You avoid disturbances from others- If you seem to always sit near the noisy folk in the cinema- this could be a way to avoid the rustling sweetie papers, coughing, slurping of drinks and ring tones affecting your viewing experience.

You can lie back- In the cinema, there is a little bit of movement in the premiere seats- but it’s just not the same as reclining your chair to enjoy the film in a practically horizonal position.

Bucket list fulfilled- You’ve probably seen couples doing this in the movies- which makes you want to say you’ve done it too and to see what all the fuss is about- and now you can.

You can kiss without feeling self-conscious- Kissing in the cinema might make you feel uneasy- especially if there’s a full row of people behind you. In your car, you can pucker up in peace.
