Most of us love to mess around on April Fool's Day with some well placed pranks- however few of us give thought to how the other person might react as 17 year old Hayleigh McBay from Scotland demonstrated yesterday.
She text him it was over- what happened next was an act of genius!
She messaged her boyfriend on What's App with; 'I don't want to be with you anymore'.
As you might expect- some of the more satisfying responses would have been Why? What have I don't wrong? How can we fix this?- but this is how it actually played out;
'I don't want to be with you anymore. I'm not happy'
'Thank god you said it first'
'What?'
'What?'
'What do you mean?'
'You said it first so I don't have to'
'So you don't want to be with me?'
'Nah'
Luckily, David knows his girlfriend a little too well and anticipated that she might do something like this to him so he called her bluff. Her retelling of the event got over 14,00 retweets on Twitter and thankfully they lived happily ever after!
