Can you get me this in a bigger size?- When the knickers he bought you for Valentine's won't go further than your thigh, the bra clasp won't fasten because of your back fat and your whole romantic evening is RUINED.

Can you cook something different for a change?- You want to tell him his signature dish makes you gag but you don't have the heart and so try to put a positive spin on things.

Would you mind moving your car back so I can get on the drive?- You know that when you ask this question he'll be in his PJs with a cuppa in one hand and the remote in the other. Where did you get this from? He buys you a really good gift for your birthday and it looks expensive. You need to know how much he spent to figure out if you can afford to match it when his rolls around.

Can my parents come and stay with us?- It's your house too so it should be ok, but you always feel guilty for kicking him out of his comfy bed for a blow up mattress on the floor when he has a bad back. It's a bittersweet time.

Do you have any ketchup? (in a posh restaurant)- He should know by now that you can't live without the stuff but he blushes and bows his head when you ask the question anyway.

Did you miss me?- What if he says- no?!
