Holidays are Hotspots for Cheating Partners

Holidays were made for getting away from the stresses of everyday life, and for some, that means getting away from their partner.

According to new research from infidelity site IllicitEncounters.com, a third of Brits will cheat on their partner when on holiday.

The sun, sea and alcohol are too much of a pull for a further six per cent of people who said they have cheated on their partner whilst on holiday with them!

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Rosie Freeman-Jones said, “Sunshine can be a real aphrodisiac for both men and women. Guys with their tops off & girls in flirty summer dresses can really get the blood pumping!

“We have always seen an increase in activity on the site during the summer months, as members minds are more set on having fun than being in the office.”

Surprisingly, women who went on girl’s holidays were more likely to cheat than men who go on lad’s holidays.

On the contrary, men were much more likely to take their lovers on holiday than women.

In total, just under two thirds of men and women said they would rather take their lover away with them than their partner.

One member, Cheska, 36 from London said, “Despite being on a beautiful holiday, in a fantastic location I realised I still wasn't happy.

“The problems within my relationship, which I had put down to stress, or a symptom of the grotty British weather, where still present abroad.

“I realised it doesn’t matter where you are, it's who you are with. I know it's selfish, but I soon found myself straying from my husband and seeking some added romance.”
