As the nights are getting darker- the need for someone to curl up by the fire with is higher than at any other time of year. So match.com has offered two of its members some assistance for dating success!

Guy Candy launched this week- a three day pop up event that saw two of the sites most eligible bachelors in a shop window for all the single women to see on their way to work or on their lunch break. Keron Knight, 26, and Michael Catuogno, 33, had their 3D printed doppelgangers placed in the window of ‘Guy Candy’ in the heart of London’s bustling East End.

The two men are London based and are interested in the world of fashion- so ideally placed and dressed in their best- their lifelike mannequins were displayed in a shop window on Brick Lane to raise their profile.

Keron’s profile reads, “Keron is a tall confident guy, with an impulsive streak. He loves a good chat and is skilled in what he says is the lost art of conversation - its free and if you do it well you'll be surprised where it can take you. Keron is looking for a girl who is willing to take risks and do something out of her comfort zone as well as surprise him by taking Keron out of his. Dinner dates just aren't for him”.

Michael’s profile reads: “Michael from Surrey is a creative type – currently writing a book and a songwriter, he also enjoys cooking mostly Italian and Japanese food. He is an active sort of guy – with a passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and going to the gym. Michael is looking for a woman who is warm, creative, intelligent and non-judgemental. Recently Michael has had a change of career and is in his third year of a bachelor science psychology degree training to be a clinical psychologist. Michaels’s main goal in life is to be happy and enjoy it with good people. So if he sounds like someone you’d like to meet then get in contact”.

Any singles who thought the men looked hot could log onto their profile right away and organise a date with either or both!

With the online dating pool being so large- it takes that little something extra to set you apart from the rest and these men definitely did that!

The process of creating the lifelike representations of the men took three weeks and took both of the men’s heads to be scanned in a booth with over 40 DSLR cameras and with specialist software, their heads were created.

It took a team of five people to create the full effect as the heads were carefully attached to the mannequin body, which had to be matched to the men’s skin tone and they chose the clothes that would best bring out their personality.

The two men are just the beginning of this initiative- if it works, then they will look to extending this to other members.

Keron Knight comments: “Seeing my doppelganger was bizarre, but brilliant.  I feel extremely positive about this experience and hopefully the perfect date is just a few mouse clicks away.  I’m looking for an intelligent and genuine woman, who is ready for an adventurous and meaningful new beginning”

Michael Catuogno adds: “Seeing my doppelganger in the window was a bit confusing at first, but I hope it sends lots of nice women my way! I’m looking for a girl who’s creative, intelligent and who likes to relax and enjoy life, so let’s hope she takes a trip to the East End this week.”
