If so you're not alone!

www.vouchercloud.com has found that a third of Brits who are currently in a co-habiting relationship are not happy with the offerings from their partner when it comes to sex. Some are even indifferent about their sex life. Consequently a fifth feel they have to schedule sex in with their significant other to make sure they are fulfilling their monthly quota.

These findings would indicate that sex is no longer sporadic among couples, as they know the day and time that they are likely to be having sex. Typically the average couple has sex six times per month and so expectations of any more have gone out of the window- just enough to justify having a sex life at all, thus separating them from being just roommates.

It is no surprise then that couples who are not satisfied with their sex lives say so because it’s ‘boring’, ‘too infrequent’ and ‘predictable’. 16% are brave enough to admit that their partner is just no good in bed and lacks the skills or the drive to please them. Others say that their sex life lacks passion.

The vast majority would spend money to get their sex lives back on track on lingerie, sexy outfits, sex toys and dirty weekends away. 59% who have spent some money to improve their sexual activity say that it does in fact have a positive effect on the way they view their sex life with their partner now.

Matthew Wood of vouchercloud.com made the following comments:

“With so many of us living such busy lives, sex often isn’t a priority and can easily become another task on a long ‘to do’ list; particularly for couples who have children, as it can be difficult to find the time or even the energy for intimate moments. Taking this into account, setting aside a certain time or day in the week isn’t necessarily a bad idea, even though it doesn’t sound very romantic. Although we Brits aren’t known for it, we definitely have it in us to be more romantic and intimate than we think.  Maybe it’s time that we spent a little bit more to spice up our sex lives; I have faith in the British public to turn these results around!”
