If you could choose one movie character to spend Valentine’s Day with, who would it be? Well Blinkbox asked the nation this very question and the nation chose well.
Valentine's Day on Female First
For women, Captain Jack Sparrow hit the top spot, most likely due to his funny, witty ways and his rugged handsome looks.
He wasn’t the only one we wanted to get our hands on this Valentine’s Day though, in second place came Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney.
He was followed by Jason Bourne and Edward Cullen for their parts in The Bourne series and the Twilight Saga.
Remember that Ryan Gosling topless scene in Crazy, Stupid, Love? Well the women of the nation certainly did and placed Jacob Palmer in fifth place.
When it came to the men of Britain, it seems they would like a woman who can stick up for herself and is independent.
First place for them went to the action hero Lara Croft. Maybe an unusual choice but second place went to the girl-next-door Bridget Jones!
Present any man with a leather clad beauty and they’re generally happy, but it was Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow that caught their attention and gained third place.
Not only do we want the movie characters to be our Valentine’s but also admit to stealing movie ideas when it comes to proposing.
Over a fifth of people said that they are planning a big romantic gesture which has been inspired by the movies.
