Master the PDA

Master the PDA

It’s only natural for couples to want to show their affections for each other in public, new couples being the worst for it!

The thing is, when you’re stood in the queue with your pint of milk at Tesco, the last thing you want is to see a couple with their tongues down each other’s throats in front of your face.

What we’re trying to say is that some couples take it a bit too far when it comes to PDA (public display of affection) so if you just can’t keep your hands off each other, then here is how to do it tastefully.

Location

As we said, Tesco is not the ideal place to start getting all touchy feely so it’s best to give it a miss when you’re doing the weekly shop.

In public places, it’s best to keep affection down to a minimum unless you’re in a pretty remote area, otherwise you’re just going to be met with disapproving groans.

Holding Hands

This is probably the most acceptable form of PDA. It’s cute and, for the most part, with keep you out of trouble!

Kissing

If you absolutely have to embrace your man and plant a kiss on him then make it quick!

A kiss on the check, head or nose is pretty cute and the general public with probably ‘awww’ at you rather than grab a sick bag.

If you have to go for the lips then keep it quick and sweet.

NO Tongues

Under no circumstances should you be using tongues in public, because if we’re being honest, it might feel great but it looks gross.

It’s also entirely unnecessary and you’ll be able to hear the skin of the people around you crawling, so leave it for those private moments.

Inappropriate Fondling

Placing your hand on his knee or around his wait is totally fine, but grabbing his butt or having him fondle you is totally out of the question.

Again, it warrants unwanted attention and to be honest it just makes you both look a little bit sleazy! Keep the touching to a minimal and avoid any X-rated moves.
