They are not happy about it

When women are walking around a city alone, their partners have no idea what they have to listen to from other men. When their loved one is around other males back off, but when a woman is by herself, she is subjected to a barrage of 'compliments' and comments about their appearance, whether that be her hair, tattoos, the way she is dressed of her figure.

These men get to see just what happens to their girlfriend when they are absent. Understandably they are shocked and a little angry at what their partner has to endure from other men who have no idea if she is single or not. But even if she were is this an acceptable way to approach?
