He loves naff jokes just as much as jokes that make you think- There's pleasure to be had in anything from a knock knock joke to something that you don't get right away.

He gets on well with your dad- He's the only one who finds your dad's jokes hilarious- while you and your mum have learned to shake your heads and move on.

He loves telling jokes to an audience- He has such a large portfolio of funnies, he's thrilled when someone says- 'tell us a joke!'

He enjoys a practical joke- Whether you're a fan or not- you've come to the realisation that you will fall victim to plenty of his scares and trickery in future because you have plenty under your belt already.

He likes to watch jokes on You Tube- If they go right or wrong- he likes nothing more than a giggle before bedtime.

He laughs at his own jokes- Even if they are predictable and been done to death- he gives himself a little giggle of reassurance anyway. Often this can be infectious and you end up laughing at him rather than his joke.

He has at least one friend who's on his wavelength- And when they get together it's like they leave their adult status at the door and crank up the silliness because their jokey soulmate is in the house.

He uses humour to cope with life's negatives- If he's had a bad day, he will always try and say something funny at the end of it to cushion the blow and keep it light-hearted.

He uses humour to break the ice- If you're in new company he always uses something funny to make everyone feel more relaxed and to get them laughing. It works every time.
