Would you kiss a stranger under the mistletoe?

In the battle of the sexes, we find out with Twoo.com which gender fares better when offering a kiss-off under the mistletoe.

Yesterday Emma, 22 and Tom 26 went into the streets of Central London to spread the sheer of Christmas by asking people for a Christmas smooch.

The pair went into Coven Garden and Trafalgar Square and despite the rather grim weather; it did not deter them from passing on the spirt of the festive season in a bid to find out if this is the most romantic time of year.

At the end of the day, Emma came out on top with 18 people agreeing to a Christmassy kiss. For Tom, things were not as rosy- with only nine cheek peckers taking part. It would seem that the women in London are not as merry as their male counterparts when faced with some mistletoe and a man full of cheer.

Sarah Zelbst, Marketing & Community Coordinator, commented: “Twoo is a global network, with over 11.9 million users across the world every month, but it’s always interesting to see how different the cultures are when it comes to romance and meeting new people. Interestingly, the experiment found that Londoners are more adventurous when in groups, which applies to both sexes. The guys were more up for a kiss when their friends were there and encouraging them to plant a kiss on Emma’s cheek. Girls were also more up for a quick smooch under the mistletoe when they were with their friends. In fact, Tom’s score shot up after a group of girls encircled him and then went for a kiss.”
