Sarah Ferguson
Chris Martin wrote his first song about Britain's Sarah Ferguson.
It was quite a media-savvy song! I was very socially-motivated at that age.
The Coldplay frontman - who has children Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses with wife Gwyneth Paltrow - has revealed the former Duchess of York's curves inspired his "terrible" first foray into music.
He said: "I was 11 years old when I wrote my first song. It was a terrible song about people being more obsessed with Sarah Ferguson's t*ts than what was really happening in the world.
"It was quite a media-savvy song! I was very socially-motivated at that age."
Despite the raunchy subject material, the 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall' hitmaker insists there was nothing controversial about the song.
He added in an interview with US radio DJ Howard Stern: "I kept it clean as you couldn't swear where I was from. I was singing very high and no one was listening."
Sarah is not the only member of the royal family to inspire a song.
N-Dubz singer Dappy Contostavlos namechecked both Duchess Catherine - who was known as Kate Middleton before she wed Prince William in April - and her youngster sister Pippa in his debut solo track 'No Regrets'.
The song features the line: "I'm a prince and yes I will get the crown/Kate stays in my dungeon when her sister's round."
