Pippa Middleton

Pippa Middleton is helping to promote a school for deaf children.

The brunette beauty - younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge - is using her high profile to back the Mary Hare School for deaf youngsters, which is close to the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, South East England.

Pippa - who says she was moved to tears during the school's Christmas production of 'Mary Poppins' - has already donated 10 per cent of sales from a signing of her party book 'Celebrate' to help raise funds.

Writing on its website Pippa added: "I have been charmed by the inspiring children, not least for their charismatic and heart-warming attitude to life."

Principal Tony Shaw said: "We really value Pippa's support. It will undoubtedly bring us to the attention of a much wider audience."

Pregnant Duchess Catherine - who was known as Kate Middleton prior to her 2011 marriage to Prince William - is already the patron of four charities and is expected to take on three or four similar roles in the near future.
