Prince Charles reportedly hates his son's fondness for cigarettes and dislikes the smell of smoke.

Referring to Prince Charles, a source said: "If he gets the slightest whiff of someone's fag, he starts theatrically waving his arms around."

The Prince of Wales' wife, Duchess Camilla, has given up smoking after three decades with the support of doctor Mosaraf Ali but Harry is seemingly not so keen to ditch his habit.

One of Harry's friends added to the Daily Express newspaper: "He smoked a lot in the Army, as most of the guys do. You've got to want to give up and he doesn't really."

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old royal has reportedly set his heart on a £3.6 million seven-bedroom mansion in Norfolk.

A resident of the town said: "It's away from any neighbours, so would be the perfect party pad."

The house comes complete with a separate cottage, annexe and garage block with a games room.

Describing the property on their website, Savills estate agents said: "The extensive property, set at the end of a long drive, includes a detached cottage, annexe, garage block with games room and studio above and a traditional Norfolk barn with planning consent for conversion to a five bedroom dwelling.

"Over the past 15 years the property has been the subject of a thorough and sympathetic programme of restoration, renovation and extension alongside landscaping of the gardens, the creation of an impressive walled garden housing the swimming pool and pool house, and the substantial garaging adjoining the house ... All bedrooms enjoy fantastic views of the gardens and water meadows beyond."
