Jetpack's have always been the futuristic device that everyone wants. The ability to fly by oneself is something we've all dreamed of since we were children.

Jetpack Aviation have finally made that dream real by creating the JB-9 Jetpack. The project was created from Australian David Mayman's passion when he teamed up with Nelson Tyler, a fellow engineer and inventor.

The jetpack allows you to fly for around ten minutes before needing to land, as it burns a gallon of fuel per minute.

It is controlled by two sticks and can fly at up to 100kph and climb between 500 and 1,000 feet per minute.

Unfortunately it isn't for sale, yet. We can however look forward to a race series with trained pilots that Jetpack Aviation claim they will launch.

Take a look at it flying around the Statue of Liberty in New York.
