Ever since I watched Jonathan Creek as a teenager (and bought myself the dvd box set in last year's January sales) I have always wanted to live in a windmill….
Whilst I know that's probably never going to happen, I have now set my sights on saving up for this whole year and treating myself to a windmill holiday in 2012.… so over the next week or two, I'm going to share with you my favourite windmills on the web.
Fishlake Mill
A four star 18th century converted corn mill offering luxury self catering and B&B accommodation in rural Fishlake, near Doncaster which sleeps 2-10 people in an idyllic rural location.
Fishlake Mill is situated in open countryside, just outside the ancient village of Fishlake. Outside the property there is a large barbecue area overlooking the ornamental pond where you can enjoy an al fresco meal or a glass of wine in the evening underneath the stars.
