Falcon's Fury

Falcon's Fury

2014 sees SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment introduce the world first face down- drop tower- Falcon’s Fury at Bush Gardens Tampa and to make the 50th Anniversary of SeaWorld, Sea of Surprises.

Falcon’s Fury

This ride is unique because it mimics the dive speeds of the fastest animal on earth. Standing 335 feet (102 metres) it plunges the riders 60mph straight down the ground. At the top of the ride, you will be spun 90 degrees to face down into your riding position. Found in Timbuktu, the ride can be seen from all angles of the park and across the Tampa Bay area. The ride will have no connecting structures and will be the tallest freestanding drop tower in America.

50 year celebration at SeaWorld

The park was first opened in 1964 on Mission Bay in San Diego. For nearly five decades SeaWorld has attracted people from, all over the globe to visit with thrilling rides and the one contact with some of the animals there. The anniversary introduces more interactive pieces and more opportunities to come up close and personal with the animals, with the option to win a prize everyday!

Highlights include:

Even more surprise encounters with roaming animal ambassadors throughout the day such as Magellanic penguins, lemurs or even a flamingo parade.

Celebration giveaways in park…. The SeaWorld Surprise Squad will be offering spot prizes including exclusive access to rides, behind-the-scenes experiences, celebration t-shirts, Shamu-themed merchandise, reserved show seating and more.

On the spot entertainment…..SeaWorld park pathways will come to life with spontaneous entertainment at unexpected moments, including performers with sea-inspired costumes and props, a bubble brigade and splash mob.

Art for animals….. to highlight SeaWorld’s commitment to the environment and passion for protecting the ocean, a series of giant sea life sculptures will be displayed throughout the parks. SeaWorld has commissioned environmental art group Washed Ashore to make the large-scale art created from ocean debris.
