Brits wear revealing beach wear on holiday

A recent study from www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk has found the top ten things Britons feel more comfortable doing abroad but wouldn’t do at home with ‘wearing revealing beach wear’ topping the chart, followed by ‘going to a nudist beach’ and ‘going out without make-up’ in second and third place respectively.

In a bid to discover more about Britons’ attitudes to holidaying abroad, the discount website polled 1,258 Britons aged 18 and over across the UK, and found that six in 10 holidaymakers have done things on holiday that they wouldn’t normally do home.

At the end of the day, how you enjoy your holidays is something very personal so as long as you feel like you’re making the most of it, then that’s all you should worry about.

The respondents specified that they would wear revealing beach clothes, go without makeup, visit a nudist beach, drink alcohol everyday and 28 per cent said they would even have sex on the beach, whilst on holiday, but wouldn’t do these things on home shores.

Mark Pearson, Chairman of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, said: “Holidays are definitely the time of the year when we all lay back and try to relax.

“All we want to do is get away from our daily routine so I guess doing things that you wouldn’t normally do at home is just part of the deal.”

Furthermore, 22 per cent of those polled are happy to flirt with strangers on holiday while a fifth will attempt to speak another language, 17 per cent won’t shower everyday and an unembarrassed 13 per cent would even go without shaving and waxing on their travels.

A small eight per cent said they would tuck into unhealthy foods too.

Mark added: “At the end of the day, how you enjoy your holidays is something very personal so as long as you feel like you’re making the most of it, then that’s all you should worry about.
