The rise of the bedtime bookers: 1 in 5 women research holidays in bed

More women were found to plan their holidays in bed in comparison to men, reveals hotels.com research done on behalf of their mobile app. This app is free to download on most devices, but the information they found is highly amusing. 1 in 5 women admitted to bedtime browsing and only 1 in 10 men said they used their phones to browse holidays in bed.

So then it comes as no shock that the the working office has come up at top spot to book holidays using a mobile phone - maybe because we all feel like we need a break from our daily routines - and over a quarter admitted to doing this - 26% said they used their working hours to look for their holiday. Commuting to work is another hotspot for holiday searching (10%) and then the pub came closely after this at 9.3%

‘The loo’ is another common place for bookings as 8.5% of people have looked through or booked a holiday when on the toilet (rising to 10% of men).
