Post War Years

Post War Years

Post War Years last night completed a UK tour with the hotly tipped White Lies. The band have announced a new London show for Tuesday 14th October at 229 Club. You were first introduced to PWY back in May with their debut release, the ‘Black Morning’ EP on hip fledgling label Chess Club, three songs that described by BBC 6 as “A fizzing bombastic attack on the senses, with more bright ideas than most bands manage in a lifetime.”Henry, Simon, Tom and Fred, are collectively Post War Years. Together they have been writing and playing their danceable, other-worldly synth-beat driven sound in pubs, clubs and basements up and down the country for a couple of years. Now the real fun begins, with writing and recording sessions for their debut album taking shape on a daily basis (currently holed up in the Russian Club Studios, East London). Live, they are a whirlwind of racing synths, samplers, and vocal harmonies where band members switch instruments and everyone gets stuck in.Live date: Tuesday 14th October, CMU Social @ 229 Club
