WWE have announced today (March 25, 2019) that this year's WrestleMania event will see Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair make history in the pay-per-view's first-ever all-female main event. The trio will do battle for the Raw Women's Championship after months of build-up, chaotic promos and backstage/in-ring bust-ups.

Rousey is the current Raw Women's Champion, having made her fighting debut in the WWE in April of last year. She picked up the title last August (2018) in a quick match against then-champion Alexa Bliss, and has squashed many of those who have stood toe-to-toe with her since that point.

Lynch earned her opportunity to challenge for the title at this year's Royal Rumble, but an injury and ongoing battle against the authority in WWE saw her removed from contention altogether. Flair then replaced her after being handpicked by CEO Vince McMahon, but Lynch would once again earn her way into the match after beating Flair during the Fastlane pay-per-view.

The fight has long been anticipated by WWE fans and has been touted as the one that will steal the show on the night, so it feels very fitting that it'll main event the entire occasion.
