On Christopher Maloney

I think he's a really good kid. I think he's a little nervous about being in there, he's never done something like this, but he's got a good heart and I think he's trying his best.

On Gemma Collins

She was different towards me because I've known Gemma for a long time. We went partying one day in Dublin Ireland until four in the morning. I like her because I know the real Gemma. There's a real sweetheart inside that woman.

On who he'd like to win

There's three ways I look at it. One, I think that Darren has changed the perception people have of him and he's a really nice and sweet guy. He's a good father, a good husband.

In a way I want John to win because all his salary is going to keep his mother who has Alzheimers, to her medical care. He may have had some problems in there with other people but to me he was just a great kid.

Danniella, because once again she's absolutely a fabulous person, I'm so proud of her and once again, she's changed the perception of the problems she had to being a very caring person.

On 'David's dead'

Considering I was in bed and Darren picked up the covers and said, 'Are you dead?', I was snoring and said, 'Not that I know of'. I found it a little bit odd. Then I went back to sleep because I heard them all yelling... I've toured the UK twice a year with my soul review. The new tour that begins in July for more than a month, is called David Gest is Not Dead, But Alive With Soul.

You've gotta remember, Angie had told John and I in the Diary Room that she would tell us if she wanted to make an announcement to the house, and five minutes later she had told Tiffany and the whole thing went haywire. I just wish she could have told us first because we would've gotten everybody together, but I guess I'm not dead and I'm still alive, so I'm kind of happy!

I met Angie in 1975 when I gave a party for Al Green at Tito and Dee D. Jackson's house and Michael Jackson was there, Randy was eight, so I knew Angie and David then. I haven't seen her since then but we built a kinship towards one another and I think she felt close to John and I, so she picked us (to tell in the Diary Room about David Bowie's death).

On Stephanie Davis

I just feel when somebody has a boyfriend they don't go looking for somebody else, or if you have a girlfriend you don't go looking for another girl, it goes for whoever you're with. She's living with somebody, you don't stray from somebody you're supposedly in love with and living with. Isn't it wonderful when you see a couple in their 80s holding hands and walking together because they love each other? I believe if you're in love you never look in any direction, you stay loyal to the one you're with, and that's my philosophy in life.

On Jeremy McConnell

He can meet thousands of women, he's a good looking kid, he's got his whole life ahead of him and there's plenty more fish in the sea. He decided to fry that one and I think it's the wrong one, because she's with somebody.

On whether Jeremy and Stephanie's relationship is real

No, because they're put in a situation where they're stuck in a house and you need excitement, so you try to create it, but I think Stephanie should be loyal to her boyfriend who's been very loyal to her, and I think Jeremy needs to meet somebody else on the outside who will love him the way he can love them.

On Emma Willis

It's always good to see Emma, she's done extremely well and I'm very proud of her. I adore her, I think she's a beautiful woman, she's really taken her career to the next level and I'm very proud of her and I hope when she gets her new baby she either names the baby Matt-tilda or Matt-teo or Matt-lock or something with Matt in it after Matt because he's a great guy.

Celebrity Big Brother continues daily on Channel 5, with the live finale set for Friday, February 5.
