Though money may not be able to buy everybody happiness, it can buy many people homicide, and that's something proved in new series Murder Behind Mansion Walls, presented by Dynasty's Emma Samms.

Unveiling the true crimes that shake the inhabitants of millionaire's row to their core each week, oil tycoons and real estate moguls are amongst the super wealthy who get an uncomfortable feeling when someone they know or love wants them dead.

We got the opportunity to chat to presenter Emma Samms about some of her most exciting career moments to-date in the run-up to the show - read on to find out what she had to say.

1) Arabian Adventure. Not just my first leading role, but my first role and, in fact, my first audition.

2) General Hospital. Where Tony Geary (actor) and Gloria Monty (producer) taught me how to act. And I received my first, and greatly appreciated, regular pay-cheque.

3) Dynasty. Which gave me world-wide recognition and all that comes with that. And on which I am still dining out, even all these years later!

4) Delirious. A proper, big budget, MGM movie. Spectacularly lucky to be starring opposite the glorious John Candy.

5) Writing and directing The Law of Moments, a short film, currently in post production. Hopefully the beginning of a new career on the other side of the camera.

Murder Behind Mansion Walls starts 10pm, 14th August on ID
