Following the dramatic and unexpected exit of malicious contestant Britney, Quinn was this week looking for a new villain so the show could be a hit, setting her team of producers a challenge to go out and find the replacement from those girls remaining - the one who did so would get a hard cash bonus.
With the team later receiving a call to tell them contestant Anna's father had died of a heart attack, Rachel was stuck for what to do, instructed by Quinn to keep the news to herself because of the potential villain role she could fill on the show.
Rachel's personal life also took a hit in the episode, with her old housemate arriving on the set of the show demanding three months' worth of unpaid rent. Threatening to reveal secrets if she doesn't pay within a day, it was a race against time and a battle with her conscience for Rachel.
When all was said and done, Rachel's life looked to be in tatters - will she be able to turn things around in next week's third episode, and will the Everlasting mansion be able to remain under control and new drama save the show from extinction?
