Through the second series, fans were tested just as much as the characters as vicar Sidney (Norton) struggled not only with his feelings for old flame Amanda (Morven Christie), but with dealing with those who thought him capable of terrible crimes.
Neil Morrissey joins the cast in the second series as the grieving father of teenager Abigail (Gracie Brooke) who was found dead in suspicious circumstances.
