Dark Angel (ITV) [Out Now]

Mary Ann Cotton is the real-life subject of ITV's new historical drama Dark Angel. As Britain's first serial killer, the murderess spent her life taking the lives of her loved ones so she could claim on their life insurance. Eventually her own life came to an end when she was found guilty of the crimes and was hanged for her efforts. Downton Abbey actress Joanne Froggatt takes on the role as Cotton and provides a stellar, stirring performance.

The Crown (Netflix) [Out Now]

Through 10 episodes, The Crown focuses on the story of Queen Elizabeth II back in her mid-twenties, facing a new life as a married woman and the daunting prospect of leading the world's most famous monarchy. Whilst juggling that side of her life, she'll also be forced to forge a relationship with the Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, and the pair must come together to help the British Empire and the political world. An incredible cast including Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II and Matt Smith as Prince Phillip star in what could be one of the biggest original series to come to Netflix yet.

Atlanta (FOX) [Out November 5]

Created by and starring Donald Glover, Atlanta is an American comedy-drama which follows two cousins hoping to make it in the Atlanta rap scene. Hoping to improve their lives and that of their families, the 10-episode season did so well in the US, that it's now already been renewed for a second season. Brian Tyree Henry, Keith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz all star in the series, which offers a realistic look at life in Atlanta for those who just want a better life.

The Grand Tour (Amazon Prime Instant Video) [Out November 18]

Whether you're a fan of the former Top Gear trio, many will be tuning in to The Grand Tour when it makes its debut to see just how Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond get on. Travelling each week to different locations all housed inside giant tents, the team will visit Los Angeles, Johannesburg, Whitby, Rotterdam, Lapland, Stuttgart, Nashville and Loch Ness through their first season. We can't wait to see what madness the trio bring to the small screen.

The Affair, Season 3 (Sky Atlantic) [Out November 21]

As one of the most gripping series to come out in the past few years, Maura Tierney and Dominic West are among the returning cast for The Affair's third season. The story took a dramatic turn last year when a major crime occurred and somebody ended up dead, but with the perpetrator being protected, will they eventually own up to their crime or let someone else take the fall?
