We’re already four days into July, but what should we be watching on the telly box this month? Take a look below for some of our top suggestions, with the 5 TV Shows We Can’t Wait To Watch This July

1. Colony, Season 2 – July 5 at 9pm on Sky1

Josh Holloway makes his return here as an FBI agent in Los Angeles, but this isn’t your typical show – the state is ran by aliens, with many families – including his own – torn between collaborating with their new leaders and fighting against them. Also starring Sarah Wayne Callies, this show is a tense, edge-of-your-seat thriller that will have you biting your nails throughout. Just make sure you catch up on the first season ahead of time!

2. How To Get Away With Murder, Season 3 – July 13 at 9pm on Sky Living

Viola Davies is back as Annalise Keating in the third season of How To Get Away With Murder. Seasons 1-2 are available on Netflix for those who haven’t yet seen them, and the stakes are raised higher than ever before with this third season when a new mystery befalls the law students who hide more secrets than anybody could count. Who’ll be wheeled out in a body bag when all is said and done? You’ll have to tune in to find out; just make sure to avoid those pesky online spoilers!

3. Game of Thrones, Season 7 – July 17 at 2am and 9pm on Sky Atlantic

The critically-acclaimed fantasy series returns for its penultimate outing, with seven dramatic episodes promised across the summer as the show gears up for its big finale. Exactly who’ll survive these next seven episodes is anybody’s guess, but if the series’ history is anything to go by, nobody’s safe in the Seven Kingdoms and beyond…

4. Ozark, Season 1 – Available on July 21 on Netflix

Brand new drama Ozark comes from Netflix, with Jason Bateman in the leading role as a money launderer forced to uproot his family and move to Missouri Ozarks when a deal with a dangerous Mexican drug cartel goes wrong. Created by Bill Dubuque and with Bateman also sat in the Director’s Chair, the actor stars in the series alongside the likes of Laura Linney, Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Michael Mosley, Skylar Gaertner and Kevil L. Johnson.

5. Ballers, Season 3 – July 27 on Sky Atlantic

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson makes his comeback as superstar former football player Spencer Strasmore; a man chasing success in the financial world for current football players in Miami. Creator Stephen Levinson here has managed to mix the genres of drama and comedy perfectly and, with the show now in its third season, it shows no signs of slowing down.
