Jennifer Ellison is set star in the new series of 'Doctor Who'. BBC bosses have lined up the 'Hell's Kitchen' star to replace Billie Piper, who announced she was quitting the sci-fi show earlier this week, as the Timelord's sidekick. Sources say 22-year-old Jennifer is close to signing up for the £100,000 role. A spokesman for the actress said: "She would love the role. She'd be ideal. "Like Billie she's an actress and a singer - and she's gorgeous." Ellison will join new Doctor 'Casanova' star David Tennant who replaces Christopher Eccleston as the cult character. Despite winning rave reviews for his performance, Eccleston is quitting the role over fears he will become typecast.
