Stars of 'The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek'

Hilariously funny new comedy TV show 'The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek' starts this weekend.

The six-part series stars comedy trio Graeme Rooney, Paul Charlton and Kevin O'Loughlin, who take up a whole host of comedic roles and characters including a pair of criminal seagulls, giving shows such as 'Little Britain' a run for their money.

Queen of comedy Catherine Tate has hailed the show as "Brilliant, really brilliant!", and the three stars - along with unseen fourth member and live director John Hoggarth - will now finally get to unleash their new production on the world after four years of hard work.

They said, "We are proud to be working with Yalli Productions and the BBC. We feel particularly excited to be working alongside Mandie Fletcher (director) who is not only a comedy industry legend, but also someone who can cope with the 'Ginge, Geordie, Geek' madness."

Having sold out shows twice daily at the Edinburgh Festival for almost half a decade, it was just a matter of time before they made it on to the small screen.

Catch the award-winning comedians on 'The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek' Sunday September 29 at 7.30pm on BBC2. It's not one to be missed.
