Kathleen Robertson is one of today's most talented actresses, and she's now starring in The Fixer, coming to FOX later this week.

We got the opportunity to catch up with Kathleen to find out about some of her favourite moments from the show, as well as working alongside Eric Dane on the series and what she has coming up next.

What was the funniest moment backstage?

Probably the scene where I had to be passed out in the middle of a field surrounded by fire. There were literally thousands and thousands of Mosquitos and other creepy crawlers all over my body but I couldn't move because we needed to think I was possibly dead. Funny and crazy all at the same time!

What about the most exciting moment?

Probably filming the opening oil rig disaster scene. Massive cannons of water exploding into me. It felt very real and I definitely got a rush doing it!

And the most memorable moment?

It was my first time doing an action film so the whole experience was a lot of firsts for me.

What's a typical day like on the set of The Fixer?

Wake up at 4:30am. Shower. Load into van. Work on scenes in trailer with Eric. Get into wardrobe. Get dirty. Work 16 hours. Eat. Fall into bed exhausted. Repeat.

What was it like working alongside Eric Dane on the series?

Eric and I were in it together. It was a hard shoot and we were together all day every day. Nothing glamorous about it!

Finally, what's next for you?

I sold a show I created to Lionsgate starting Christina Applegate and another to an American network. So lots of writing jobs. Taking a break from being in front of the camera.

The Fixer starts 4th September at 10pm on FOX.
