Season six of 'Mad Men' is perhaps one of the most experimental and unique in its entire genre.

Risking it all is creator Matthew Weiner, who keeps the pace and excitement at an all time high, as Don Draper (Jon Hamm) begins to unravel extrovertly - losing faith in everything around him.

Hitting rock bottom, Draper realises it's finally time to face up to the truths that he has long fought against exposing.

History isn't ignored, and the events that surrounded 1968 including assassinations and the Vietnam War are touched upon and sometimes woven into the main stories.

This is a cast not to be ignored - they're perfect for the job, and new additions Harry Hamlin as Jim Cutler and Linda Cardellini as Sylvia Rosen pack some punch with their brilliant performances.

Mad Men: Season 6' is out now on Blu-ray and DVD from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
