Kylie Minogue will headline the BBC 'Proms In The Park' concert in September.
The 'All The Lovers' singer will be backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra for the event at London's Hyde Park, and she admits she is delighted to be playing the event.
She said in a statement: "I'm delighted to be performing at one of the UK's most outstanding nights of the musical calendar.
"To sing in front of thousands of people whilst being accompanied by the legendary BBC Concert Orchestra in such a special year is truly a dream come true."
Also performing at the event will be band Il Divo, tenor Alfie Boe and the London Community Gospel Choir with Sir Terry Wogan hosting.
Terry said: "To have the Princess of Pop herself, Kylie Minogue, performing in Hyde Park promises to make the concert an unforgettable spectacle."
Kylie recently finished an anti-tour, where she performed little-known and rare tracks in small venues, to celebrate 25 years in the music industry.
