V: Season 2

V: Season 2

After the first explosive season of this rebooted classic sci-fi, the question left on every follower’s lips... ‘Will the world wise up in Season 2?’

In the previous series, alien creatures known only as the Visitors appeared in every major city in the world simultaneously.

Looking like everyday men and women, the Vs preached a benign code of peace and unity, promising the knowledge of sophisticated technology. But before long, the terrifying truth began to unfold.

V: Season 2 shows the series taking a much darker turn; featuring more characters, lizard reveals and more action and plot twists than ever before.

With Anna (Morena Baccarin) unleashing ‘Red Sky’ on the planet and special guest appearances by Jane Badler, star of the original mini-series, playing Anna’s mother Diana, fans are guaranteed to be left fizzing with excitement and anticipation.

Will the human race prevail or will the aliens succeed in their morbid quest?

This season continues with Ryan kept in isolation on the mothership, away from his hybrid baby so that Anna can experiment on her; Chad, seeking redemption for being used by Anna, now wants to fight with the Fifth Column, and Erica goes on a journey to find a scientist who can give her the answers to what Red Sky is, and where she learns the horrifying secret of what the V’s are doing on our planet.

One of the biggest hits on American TV and a bona fi de smash over here, V stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans, Morris Chestnut as Ryan Nichols, Scott Wolf as Chad Decker, Joel Gretsch as Father Jack, Charles Mesure as Kyle Hobbes, and Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans.

New recurring stars for this season include Jane Badler as Diana, Oded Fehr as Eli Cohn, Jay Karnes as Chris Bolling and Bret Harrison as Dr. Sidney Miller.

V: Season 2 will be aired on SYFY on Thursday at 9pm from 24th March 2011
