The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge admits her daughters, Alexa, 14, and Hollie, eight, as well as husband Chris Hughes, think the coronavirus-enforced lockdown has made her a "better person".Speaking on her radio show, 'Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden', she said: "I'm a better mother in lockdown, I'm a better wife according to my husband ... I'm just a better person."

When asked by Jamie if she was missing her friends, Amanda said she has been keeping in touch with them on the Zoom app.

The 49-year-old star said: "I'm seeing them on them every week on the Zoom, on the Zoom don't you know! I'm seeing them."

Amanda also admitted she doesn't miss getting dressed up to go out with her friends.

She said: "It's just so wonderful to crawl up the stairs instead of having to call a cab on a Friday, it's brilliant. I'm enjoying that and I'm enjoying the children and [her husband] Crispy."

The star asked celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas for advice on covering up grey hairs "for a friend".

Amanda remarked: "I'm asking this question for a friend, if they have a kind of small patch of grey at the front which is just a little bit annoying ... just a tiny barely there patch."

Michael joked: "I think I know this friend."

After hearing Michael's tips, Amanda joked that she would "let them know".

Jamie added: "Or just get a hat, Amanda ... for your friend."
